Pre & Post Instructions

  • To better prep for your procedure, you must adhere to these instructions.
  • If you have severe health conditions, and are under doctor’s current care, your doctor’s note is required.
  • If you have Diabetes, Glaucoma, Bleeding Disorder, undergoing chemotherapy, doctor clearance is needed.
  • You must not be pregnant or nursing.
  • You must be off Accutane for at least 6 months.
  • You must not be on acne medication.
  • If you have any skin issue or condition like Keloiding, scarring etc, Please inform the technician.
  • No chemical peels 4 weeks before/after.
  • No use Retinols, Retin-A, other anti-aging serum or cream 1 month before/after (cause more bleeding and not healed properly).
  • Filler and Botox: You can get procedures 3 weeks before/after.
  • Stop using exfoliation 5 to 7 days before procedures.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Fish oil, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Aleve and any other blood thinner 7 days prior to procedure (Do not discontinue any medications prescribed by your doctor without doctor’s consent).
  • If you want to get groom (Wax, tweeze, threading and so on), Please do 5 days prior to your scheduled procedures for eyebrows.
  • Do not consume alcoholic/caffeinated beverage within 24-48 hours. This will inhibit the anesthetic from functioning at its best.
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure.
  • Please note that you may be a bit more sensitive towards a procedure during your menstrual cycle.
  • No tanning before procedure/ 7-10days after.
  • Please do not apply makeup on the procedure area after procedure (for minimum 5 days).

Post Instructions

  • After care is important to get optimum result.
  • Blotting gently for 24 hours.
  • The procedure area may be swollen and tender for a couple days. Use Ice pack (covered with clean napkin) .
  • Do not get the area wet with water for 24 hours.
  • Avoid applying makeup for 5 days.
  • No sweating for 10 days ( No heavy exercise for at least 10 days).
  • Avoid sauna, steam room, hot tub, direct shower spray, hot water, salt water , swimming pool, beach, sun and a long shower .
  • When scabbing do not pick, peel or scratch the area.

For Eyeliner Procedure

  • No eyelash extension during the procedure and at least 2weeks after.
  • No eyelash growth serums 2 weeks before/after.
  • No contact lenses on the day and 2 days after.
  • No mascara for 5-7days.

For Lip Procedure

If you have active Herpes, we cannot do the procedure. We will wait till until it clears up. All clients who ever have had Herpes simplex or cold sores at any point of your life, you must get a prescription from your doctor for an anti-viral medication such as Valtrex, to be taken both before and after the procedure to prevent a outbreak. Services can not be performed when you are experiencing an active outbreak.
